We are very pleased to be able to display the results of the work our members are doing. As every survey conducted has a geo-reference, we are now able to map the responses of households surveyed, per indicator. Big data can be generated through aggregated info and mapped onto online maps, offering a better perspective of the real issues at hand in specific areas of the country, and scaling for a national snapshot in time. This is extremely powerful, as this map can enhance decision-making for government services such as electricity and sanitation and can influence priorities for engagement for NPOs and corporates. It also allows PS members to visually see the impact of their programmes when reds turn to greens as families move out of poverty.
